Why Employ a Historian?

The skills of an accredited professional historian complement those of other professionals such as archivists, archaeologists, curators, anthropologists, architects, planners and lawyers.

Accredited professional historians can also play a significant role in records management and archival practices; for example, advising on records appraisal and disposal. The writing of good histories is a specialised activity that requires sound historical skills and knowledge combined with an appreciation of how to present information.

So go for the best – the accredited professional historian!
